THE NEXT INTERNET brings together the political, legal, economic, social, cultural, and technological dimensions of Internet governance into a coherent, practical learning experience. The curriculum will examine the issues shaping Nigeria's digital future including digital rights, cybersecurity, data governance, artificial intelligence, meaningful connectivity, digital inclusion, Internet infrastructure, and emerging technologies while connecting national priorities to regional and global Internet governance processes.
The School combines expert-led learning, practical exercises, multistakeholder dialogue, collaborative problem-solving, and interactive simulations. Participants will develop both foundational knowledge and practical skills to engage constructively in Internet governance discussions, policy processes, and decision-making spaces.
The School will bring together practitioners and experts from government, academia, the technical community, civil society, the private sector, and other relevant stakeholder groups, creating a learning environment that reflects the multistakeholder nature of Internet governance itself.
We invite emerging leaders, policymakers, researchers, technologists, civil society practitioners, entrepreneurs, educators, students, and other stakeholders with an interest in the future of Nigeria's Internet to participate in this national learning experience.
